Zelda Popkin, Dead Man’s Gift (1941)

边缘不可能犯罪，讲一个老头貌似自然死亡但其实被杀，看不出杀人手法。老头的亲朋有充分的杀人动机。整体叙述破碎无亮点，最后的物理诡计毫无科学性可言。

凶手吹了一个哨子产生超声波杀死老头。
